Masters Athletes

As we age, our nutrient needs change.  I just learned, at age 35 & beyond we’re considered “Master’s Athletes”  Wait what?

Protein must be TOP priority for us Masters Athletes or any aging person who moves their body!  Protein is the key to a meal or snack that helps you stay full & satiated & one that leaves you hungry in an hour!  Protein is the building block for muscles, cells & tissues, & as we age these things break down much easier!


A few of my favorite quick & easy sources of protein:

  1. Greek yogurt
  2. Canned tuna & salmon
  3. Eggs
  4. Cottage Cheese
  5. Edamame
